Nutraceutical Support

At Luminary Health, supplements are used as supportive tools within a broader clinical plan. They are not positioned as replacements for standard medical care, nor as generic wellness products.

Targeted nutraceuticals for identified needs

Nutraceuticals are recommended selectively to address identified needs such as nutrient deficiencies, increased physiological demand, or specific clinical goals that are not fully supported through diet or medication alone. Their use is guided by health history, current treatments, and—when appropriate—laboratory findings.

Nutraceutical support may be relevant during periods of stress, recovery, hormonal transition, or digestive or absorption challenges. Use may be short-term to support a specific phase of care, or longer-term when ongoing support is appropriate. In all cases, recommendations are reviewed and adjusted over time, with emphasis on relevance, coordination, and clinical necessity rather than default routine use.

Types of Supplement Support

Nutraceuticals are one component of a broader, individualized care strategy.

Supplement use at Luminary Health may include support for:

  • Nutrient repletion and deficiency correction
  • Digestive and metabolic function
  • Nervous system and stress-response regulation
  • Hormonal and endocrine balance
  • Energy and sleep optimization
  • Mitochondrial support
  • Physical performance – body composition
  • Brain and cognition support
  • Immune and inflammatory modulation from chronic infections from viral, bacterial and mold exposure

Nutraceutical Quality

All nutraceuticals used are medical-grade and third-party tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and other contaminants. Products are selected from professional-grade brands trusted by physicians and formulated at clinically appropriate dosages to support effectiveness.

Nutraceuticals may include evidence-based medicinal ingredients such as herbs, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  Selection is guided by current research and integrated into care only when clinically relevant.

Nutraceuticals

If you are currently taking supplements, considering them, or have questions about how they fit into your care plan, this can be reviewed during a consultation.

The clinical team will assess whether supplementation is appropriate and, if so, how it can be integrated safely and effectively into your overall treatment approach.
